Jindhagada Trek

Locally known as Seethamma Konda — the highest peak of Andhra Pradesh

A journey into the heart of the Eastern Ghats, where mountains, mist and tribal culture come together.

Jindhagada — locally known as Seethamma Konda — rises to 1,690 m in Hukumpeta Mandal, and is home to the Dongria Kondh, Valmiki, Bhagata, Gond and Kondareddy Koyedura communities. Trekking here is more than a summit: ancient forests, crystal streams, coffee plantations and the living culture of the Eastern Ghats. We've curated this trek since 2018 — breathtaking views, tribal interactions, stargazing, and winters that drop to 4°C.

“Ravi and Manohar are fantastic leaders — super friendly, supportive and encouraging. An authentic tribal home lunch, a small group with zero tourist crowds, and the tent stay + star-gazing was magical. 10/10 memorable trip!”

“Everything was very well organised — travel, food, camping and safety. Special thanks to live encyclopedia Naveen, for teaching the kids fire-lighting, diving in natural pools, and endless facts about nature and village life.”

“You reach the peak tired, hungry, legs shivering — and Ravi and team come up with food, water and essentials. Cherry on the cake: the scenic view and calmness on the peak. Keep calm and choose Ecohikes.”
